Using bioaugmentation as the star of a preventive maintenance program would prevent this from ever occurring. Fat is simply a food source for our bacteria. They break the FOGs (Fats, Oils, and Greases) down into carbon dioxide and water. There is no bad effect on piping whatsoever.
