Rather try using sodium hypochlorite in future. NCP can produce it at a concentration of 30% or more. Make sure you dilute it on delivery because the higher the concentration the quicker it degrades. Although it has a high pH the sodium is more soluble and prevents the scaling.

Agree with Chris. Sodium hypochlorite is very soluble and when it leaves a deposit (drying of surfaces) it can be wiped off with water.
